A one-page website is a website that only has one page. This means that all the information about your business is displayed in different sections on one long web page. A one-page website is the ideal way to encourage visitors to take action, that is, to contact your business and become a customer.
What is a professional email address?
A professional email address is an email address that contains the name of the business’s website. For example, jason@openforweb.com. This is different to a free personal email address that normally ends with @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, or @outlook.com.
How long does this take?
It normally takes about 2-weeks to get your website and email up and running.
How much work do I have to do?
You’ll do as little work as possible. The hardest thing we’ll ask you to do is to send us information about your business in the form of photos, videos, and price lists.
I’m not a web-designer, do I have to design anything?
No, you won’t need to design anything. We’ll use whatever designs you already have for your business or we’ll create new designs for your website.
I don’t know anything about IT, how much IT knowledge do I need to know?
You won’t need to know anything about IT. We’ll take care of all the technical aspects of building and running your website.
How do I access my business emails?
If you’re currently using Gmail or Outlook, you’ll be able to send and receive business emails from within your current Gmail or Outlook app.
I already have a website. Can I still use this service?
Yes, but your current website will be replaced by the new website that we’ll build for you.
If I cancel my website, can I keep my domain name?
Yes, if you cancel your website with us, you’ll be able to transfer your domain name to another provider.
Can I design my own website?
No, this is a done-for-you service and not a do-it-yourself website builder. We welcome guidance on your preferred colours, font, or images. However, in terms of layout, we follow an industry-proven one-page layout designed to encourage visitors to take action.
Can I just get a professional email address without a website?
Yes, but the price stays the same.
Can I sell products directly on my website, like an ecommerce store?
No, we don’t support ecommerce stores yet.
